Developed an extensive line of automatic and manual photo-transistor, photo-diode and LED test equipment. Invented a technique for sensing low light level signals based on the CCD phenomena. Responsible for fiber optics based gasket measurement system. Debugged a circular Bar Code scanner for pharmaceutical labels. Instrumented vehicle for precision laser based railroad track-bed survey for Dept. of Transportation. Productized electro‑optical textile processing machine controller. Participated in the development of a 35‑mm optical tape data recorder / player. Worked on optoelectronics for Point of Sale terminal manufactured by Singer-Friden. Devised optical wire gauge, sausage bore measurement and leaf scanning applications.
